2000
In 2000 Seychelles Airways was approached by the IDC (Islands Development Company) to operate a few aircraft on behalf of them to the furthest islands where Seychelles Airways didn't fly to due to extremely low passenger numbers and lack of infrastructure on the islands to support the tourists was handed to the IDC who would have flights to these islands like: Providence, Platte and Desroches. Though the IDC has their own fleet of outdated Islanders, they would buy 3 'new' BAe Jetstream 31s to replace them in the process they would ask Seychelles Airways to operate the aircraft on their behalf. The flight crew from IDC was transferred over to Seychelles Airways and flew the IDC aircraft which would wear a basic version of the Seychelles Airways livery up until 2012.
