With the upcoming retirement of the Boeing 737-500, Deutscheadler was in search of a 100 seat aircraft to transfer regional passengers into Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, and Stuttgart. The Fokker 70 & 100 immediately was added to the list for consideration. Reviewing the success of the series around the world, Deutscheadler found it a good replacement for the fleet. Deutscheadler made the choice to purchase a set of Fokker 70s of Nordic Air, and place orders for brand new Fokker 70s and Fokker 100s.
The Fokker family served Deutcheadler until 2011, where Embraer E170 LRs and Embraer E195 ARs replaced the series. Deutscheadler's Fokker fleet was commonly seen across Europe's regional airports through the 2000s.
I think you've bought those F70's of my hands in S3-B, happy to hear they serve you well
Like the design btw!
