Poletavia - Russian Airlines Boeing 777-300ER "1998-2017”

With the success of Poletavia's fleet of 777-200ERs, the airline opted in the early 2000s to expand this fleet. Faced with the decline of the IL-96's profit margin, the airline was in need of another large airliner to remain competitive. Boeing would offer the "Extended Range" variant of it's 777-300 in 2003, with the first aircraft being delivered to Sheremetyevo at the end of 2004. Poletavia would order an initial 8 airframes, opting throughout the years to expand this fleet in twos and threes until arriving at the final number of 18 in 2016. These would gradually replace the IL-96 in the fleet, making both variants of the 777 the backbone of the Russian fleet, supplemented by the Airbus A330 and A350. They are used primarily on premier international routes from Sheremetyevo and trunk routes across Russia and the former Soviet Republics.

As of 2020, all Boeing 777s remain in service, without a single accident or incident. The 777-300ER is configured in two separate configurations, with 10 airframes in an 8 Premium First, 48 Business, 28 Premium Economy, and 236 Standard Economy config, while the remaining 8 are in a more dense 30 Business, 48 Economy Plus, and 324 Standard Economy config.
