Boeing 757-200 | 1998-2009 livery

In 1983, NNA was rapidly expanding their international presence, they needed an aircraft with long range, with capacity in between the 737 and 767. In 1986, the first of 25 757s were delivered. They were placed on medium range flights with lower demand, like NRT-RGN, NRT-HKT, etc. Later they were also deployed on longer domestic flights. They operated until 2017, when the new and more efficient A321neos were delivered. The only incident a NNA 757 was involved in was an attempted hijacking in May 2000, when a man flying on the 757 from Narita to Penang, stood up and attempted to fly the plane to North Korea. The aircraft was diverted to Manila and the hijacker was arrested.
