In 2018, Yangtze Group became an official partner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, appearing on the rear wing of the championship winning W10 and W11 race car of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. In 2020, the airline group upped its commitment to Formula One and the Mercedes team by unveiling a special livery on Yangtze Airlines' newest Boeing 787-9: B-4477, a nod to the two drivers of the team. The aircraft was also aptly named "Brackley", after the team's UK headquarters.
