ANC Boeing 787 9

The Boeing 787 is a critical new component for ANC, allowing the aircraft to reach a brand new continent: Asia. The type has allowed direct links from Colombia to Japan, China and Korea. When ANC accepted their 787 orders in late 2013, the first route to Asia, ANC 299 from Bogota to Seoul opened to much fanfare. The 787 now operates to Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Osaka in addition to Seoul. These routes serve to connect Colombia to an ever shrinking world thanks to long range capabilities. ANC is very interested in the 777-X to operate to Australia and Southeast Asia thanks to the success of the 787 within the airline's fleet
