This image shows two of the most premium-heavy aircraft in the Royal Airways fleet in the early 90s. The first is the Lockheed L1011-500, configured with 26 seats in First, 42 in Empire Class, and 84 in Tourist Class, and used mostly for premium-centered American and Middle Eastern routes before its retirement in 1994. (This particular aircraft, G-AXBB, was actually sold in 1992 - a few months before Royal Airways became a founding member of the OneSky Alliance - but is shown here wearing OneSky stickers for illustrative reasons). The second aircraft shown here (with 100% premium capacity!) is the Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde, with 112 seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration within its long, narrow cabin. These were basically Tourist Class seats with some extra pitch, but they were upholstered the same as First Class on the airline's widebodies, and sold as 'Concorde Class' - a step above First.

Note: To my knowledge, this is the first time a Concorde seatmap has been uploaded to the gallery. I realize a lot of the seatmaps I upload are often the 'first time' that type has been represented, but that's just because seatmaps aren't uploaded here that often. In any case though, I feel like Concorde is somehow special (despite its rather ordinary economy-like seats), so enjoy!
