Avro RJ100 - Brussels Airways

Hi all, this was a very difficult decision to make. Something I have tried to delay as long as possible and actually a moment I'd hoped never came. It is time for me too to take an indefinite break from Airline Empires and The Gallery.

As GJ, DET and the others before me have mentioned, this has become a hive of toxicity and non-feedback. It has halted growth for me and taken too much of my time, something I realised for myself after seeing more and more notable members leave this community. I've been here since 2015 and the members back then absolutely burned me to the ground at times, but that pushed me to go forward. Sometimes stupidly stubborn causing more backfire. It helped me grow as a person, and to become more sociable and open to feedback. So thank you all for that.

This entire post might seem a bit over the top, but this website and specifically this gallery has been my main community online for the past few years. I found friends for life in some of you which I'm immensely grateful for.

One last thing to all the new and "kinda new" members, listen to what others have to say and please dont be afraid to give comments as to what you like and do not like. You help yourself by learning to look critically towards work and you help the other person improve. And maybe the most important thing especially on this website: if someone is a d*ck towards you or your work, do not instigate drama, let that person be and just ignore it. He or she does not have anything better to do.

Thank you DWA for being so awesome and pushing me to become a better designer, thank you to everyone making livery competitions, and thank you to everyone I've worked with. Y'all know who you are. If you need me, you can always reach me on discord. Just ask around and you'll find me.

Now it is 2021 and time for me to move on. This will probably be my last gallery entry for a while.
