In 1988, the BAe146-300 was introduced into service with Royal Airways, complementing the -100 and -200 variants already in the airline's fleet. It helped phase out the few remaining BAC 1-11-200 and 1-11-500 twinjets, which had served in the same short-range (and occasionally medium-range) role since the 1960s. Shown here (at the bottom of the image) is the first BAe146-300 to be delivered - G-ZHGA - together with G-FOMP and G-FOBR, which were among the last BAC 1-11s to leave the fleet, in 1990 and 1992, respectively.

    Love the 1-11s!

This is definitely one of your best brands!

The Avro looks awesome, nice work.

    Thank you!

The cheatline idea is pretty nice, I'm not sure about the logo though.

Thanks! Anything specific about the logo that's putting you off? It's the same one that was used on the previous Royal Airways livery, and before that as British Atlantic's logo...

I guess I never looked into it as deeply before. I think it's cool (and gives that Britannia vibe).

I don't like the weird slash/swoop shape on the logo though, and I think the chest should be filled in / white. Right now the logo doesn't sit well and sort of just has a weird shape when you look at it in my eyes.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Originally that was meant to be like his toga or something, but you're right, when the logo is cut off like this it does look like a random swoop/big white blotch. The logo is going to be updated anyway for the next livery change (late 90s), and I'll definitely keep this in mind when I do that.
