Air Turkey Boeing 737-800

Air Turkey has a total of 87 737-800s, and have operated a total of 93 of the type. The 737-800 was first ordered on 12 May 1996 with the first one arriving on 3 April 1998. The initial order consisted of 50 737-800s, 18 737-700s and 13 737-900s. Air Turkey ordered a further 35 737-800s and 16 737-900ERs on 16 April 2006. Air Turkey has also acquired a further 8 737-800s from other airlines throughout the years. Today the 737-800s fly primarily domestic flights, but also to Central and Eastern Europe and also to North Africa. The 737-800s will be gradually replaced with the 737-MAX line and A321neos.
