Colombiana contines to operate a number of its Boeing 767 aircraft on long-haul routes to North America, Europe, and some major cities in South America, although they are being progressively replaced by new 787 Dreamliners. The airline has been a faithful operator of the 767 since its introduction in the late 1980s and intends to retain a few aircraft which will be converted into dedicated freighters for its cargo division.
