Magavia | 1967-1983 | Tupolev Tu-154B

The Tu-154B was Magavia's first large jet aircraft and replaced most of the airline's fleet of Il-18 turboprops during the 1970s. Alongside the Tu-134, this type was the workhorse of the carrier until the 1990s. Eventually, most of Magavia's early Tu-154s were replaced by the Tu-154M in the late 1980s.

Aircraft HA-TYP was delivered to Magavia in 1975 and served with the airline until the 1990s.
