I usually freehand on the first aircraft, then once I have all the details of that one hammered down I make a graphic of the fuselage and tail designs if they have a shape more complex than any regular geometric shapes. I then apply and transform that uniform graphic across the fleet. I hope that helps my friend!

I didn't understand what you meant by "graphic".

Do you do it for Illustrator ??

no, as literally every person has pointed out on your posts: use Photoshop. Create the pattern in photoshop with the pen tool and then use the transform tool to make them fit every individual aircraft. This will never work with Illustrator.

I only not use Photoshop to create the paintings, because I have difficulty using the "pen tool".

But from what you said, if I create one for the A330 and then I want to insert it on the A320, is it only using this transform tool that it is inserted in the plane size (including the tail) ??

And about Illustrator, I just create the designs there, and insert it into Photoshop by the "clipping mask"

The pen is (in my opinion) the best tool you can have in liverymaking when using Photoshop. Try to get more used to it, it can greatly help you once you know how to use it correctly.

There should be a tutorial on how to do that ...
