Czechoslovakian Airways | Douglas DC 10-40

The 1960s went on to be quite a good time for the airline. The fleet of DC-8s was expanded with the later variants and in 1967 Czechoslovakian Airways was able to build up the domestic route network with the acquisition of the brand new DC-9 aircraft. With the introduction of the 747 and the concept of a jumbo jet, Czechoslovakian Airways tried to find a way to get in on the fun. The merger of Douglas and Mcdonnell complicated the situation since the airline had to get a new agreement and this time the UDSSR was not as easily convinced as in 1951. The agreement was settled with the airline having the ability to operate MD aircraft but also having to operate a set number of airplanes from the UDSSR. Nevertheless, Czechoslovakian Airways ordered the newly build DC-10 and after some delays the aircraft arrived in the fleet in late 1974, at which point the freight door issue was already fixed. Czechoslovakian Airways decided to operate the -40 variant for multiple reasons which included advantages in the acquisition of the aircraft and also familiarity of Pratt & Whitney engines. The aircraft were mainly used on flights to the Americas and Asia. The aircraft enjoyed a long operating life with the last flight being flown in 2006.

    Thanks! I'll try

To be fair, you don't have to try very hard, as all your stuff seems to look good.

By the way, are there plans to revive any of the other brands from your old account, such as Guardian Airlines and Australian World Airways?
