Aquila Airlines Boeing 737 Fleet

Aquila Airlines has been operating the Boeing 737 since the very beginning. The airline received its first 737-100 in October 1968, as one of the aircraft's first customers. The airline is quite the loyal customer; Apart from the -600, Aquila Airlines has operated every major variant of the first three generations of the 737. The airline also had nearly 200 737 MAX on order, however these orders have been delayed until 2024, and the order has been reduced, in favour of the Airbus A320neo (Aquila Airlines also has a large fleet of A320 family aircraft).

The airline currently operates a fleet of 345 737 Next Generation aircraft. The airline was the launch customer for the 737-700, and has since operated the 737-800, 737-900 and 737-900ER, although the non-ER -900s were retired in 2018.
