Private Fokker F50 EC-GQT

This was my entry for the edge private aircraft competition.

EC-GQT was originally delivered to Kenya Airways in 1988 with the registration 5Y-BFM and later was bought by Air Nostrum. In 2003 Bombardier acquired the Aircraft for an unknown reason. In November of that year it was lend to Blue Bird aviation, the airline that caused it to overrun on a runway. After having 4 registrations, a now Spanish rich man which knew the aircraft was going too be scrapped bought the aircraft and sent it to Spain. The reason of this was because he is an aviation geek and remembers it’s first flight with Air Nostrum with the same exact aircraft (EC-GQT) and re-registered it with the same registration. Months later, when the aircraft as totally repaired, he personally designed the livery interior of his F50. In 2004, the aircraft made it’s first private flight for his new owner, and continues in service. The owner said that until the aircraft cant totally continue flying, he will make an small house near his parent’s for vacations (hopefully in many years). This Fokker represents the connection between an aircraft and a person, and how can humans love an object so much.

The interior is equipped with 6 seats with seat belts, a sofa with a capacity for 3 people. On the front there are 4 seats, 2 on each side with a desk on the middle, which can be extended the double of space if necessary. Then we ave the sofa with a Samsung QLED 8K TV of 65’, which includes a database of more than 3.000 movies. Near L2 door we have 2 seats with a wide desk. On the rear of the aircrafts there’s a bathroom with a galley. Theres a reserved space for flight attendants on the front of the aircraft near R1 door.
