Tupolev Tu-154M

Tupolev Tu-154M

РОССФЛОТ's workhorse Tu-154; in it's 1978 to 1992 livery. РОССФЛОТ operated over 100 of these aircraft at it's peak, serving destinations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. These aircraft formed the backbone of the fleet's medium haul routes, serving alongside the Tu-134, IL-62, and Yak-42. After the fall of the Soviet Union, these were slowly replaced by Airbus aircraft, and eventually banned by the EU due to noise and emissions concerns.

This aircraft is based out of Leningrad, and serves destinations in eastern and western Europe. Seen here sporting an engine cowling borrowed from another Tu-154 operator.

Comments and criticisms are always welcome!
