2010s-present: Brand overhaul and fleet redevelopment

In May 2010, a new livery was unveiled on one of Air Hanoi's Boeing 767s, showcasing the airline's revamped corporate identity designed in collaboration with US-based branding agency Siegel+Gale. The brand relaunch would also include the debut of redesigned uniforms and cabin interiors as well as the renovation of airport lounges in Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, and Tokyo.

In 2011 the airline purchased eleven Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and 30 Airbus A321neos for deliveries between 2017 and 2019. Air Hanoi also became one of only five customers along with Air Greenland, Kuwait Airways, Macau Airways, and Uganda Airlines to order the Airbus A330-800neo, completing its purchase of six aircraft in 2019 with an option for four additional aircraft. The A330-800neo will serve as a future replacement for the 767s and leased A330-200s in the fleet. Deliveries for this model were originally scheduled for mid-2020 but have been pushed back to the first quarter of 2021 due to the current coronavirus pandemic. Air Hanoi received its first A330-800neo on 6 January 2021, becoming the type’s launch customer in Southeast Asia.
