VH-TAA, a brief history

TAA (C/N 134) was the first of 4 aircraft ordered by Trans Australian Airlines (TAA) in 1974.
TAA became the first airline to introduce wide-bodied aircraft within Australia in July of 1981 whilst competitor Ansett Australia, wouldn't receive their wide-bodied 767-200s till 1982.
VH-TAA was operated by TAA and it's successor airline Australian till 1993, when Australian Airlines and Qantas merged.
VH-TAA served in the Qantas fleet till 1998, when it was Pinnacle Air Cargo and converted to an A300B4-F by Deutsche Aerospace.
The aircraft is currently in an abandoned state at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Same with the TAA A300, trialing a darker blue.
