OASYS Boeing 787 Family

OASYS Boeing 787 Family

The Boeing 787 has been instrumental in the OASYS fleet. Boeing’s latest composite technological marvel revolutionized the fleet, through allowing new, previously impossible routes, as well as replacing several aging aircraft types.

The Boeing 787-8 provided a major fleet renewal for OASYS when it entered service in 2014. The aircraft replaced the aging Airbus A300 and A310 in regular service, and also opened up key routes that were not possible with the previous OASYS fleet. The 787-8 operates from Sydney to popular domestic destinations, as well as to nearby international cities in Oceania and Asia. Additionally, the 787-8 has allowed OASYS to launch new long-haul services to San Jose, California and Mexico City, Mexico.

Like its smaller sibling, the 787-8, the 787-9 has opened up countless new markets for OASYS, including Europe service from Perth, which has expanded to several destinations from the original route of Perth - London. The aircraft was also key to the OASYS fleet renewal effort, replacing Airbus A300s operating higher-demand regional routes as well as the Boeing 777-200ER. Currently, the 787-9 can be seen from OASYS hubs at Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, as well as around the globe. OASYS operates more 787-9s than any other wide-body or long-haul aircraft, given its long range, convenient capacity and flexibility for operating to all destinations.

The 787-10 is the largest member of the Boeing 787 family, and OASYS' latest long-haul aircraft. While it only sees use from the Sydney hub, the aircraft has allowed OASYS to significantly boost capacity on key routes between the hub and Asia.

    There we go, much better.

    Sorry about the spam earlier.

    I like interesting designs.

Actually I cannot say that it is a perfectly designed livery, but the tail managed to look at itself for a very long time. Probably I was hypnotized while looking and I continued to look. I keep looking at the tail while writing down here...
