Vanguard Airlines 747-8i "100th Anniversary"

In the fall of 2020, Vanguard Airlines would send ship 005, a Boeing 747-8i, to VCV in California for a repaint. After a few weeks, she returned home to Memphis sporting the airlines third and final heritage livery. For the airlines' 100th Anniversary in 2021, a Boeing 747 was painted into the paint scheme that the original fleet of 747-100s was delivered to the airline wearing in 1969. As before with the previous milestone anniversaries, the previous aircraft, ships 754 and 610 were flown in for photos, a PR event, and a formation flight around Memphis. The aircraft would then fly in formation to Houston, where they would each return to revenue service. Also in 2020, Vanguard Airlines would add the airlines' original golden wings logo beneath the "Welcome Aboard" beside each door to every aircraft fleet wide. As with the other retro aircraft, 005 is expected to fly in her retro colors until her retirement.
