- Album Yukon North
In 2018, with the 737-200 fleet aging and racking up cycles, as well as being fuel inefficient, loud, and generally getting worn down, Yukon North went searching for a replacement. It needed cargo operations, and rough strip capabilities, and it found it in two 17 year old Avro RJ100s. The company then sent them off to be converted to QuickChange aircraft. These aircraft entered the fleet in 2019, and are slowly replacing the 737-200 aircraft left in the fleet.
Nice!
Only thing is I belive the last Avros were built around 2002...which would make them more than 11 years old.

Nice, one of the few fitting replacements for the 737-200C Combi!
I agree, and getting popular in northern Canada!

Just added and modded the cargo door I use on all my combi aircraft. It fit pretty well, then I added the structural bracing around the front and bottom.
Nice, one of the few fitting replacements for the 737-200C Combi!
