Air Crimson Boeing 747-400

The 747-400 was first delivered in January of 1990 to serve as a replacement for the 747-200 which was in predominant use in the fleet. A total of 16 aircraft were delivered over the next 14 years until may of 2003. It's inaugural revenue flight was from Minneapolis St. Paul to Tokyo-Narita a couple of months after delivery. The 747-400 continues to fly to this day on many of the pacific routes served by Air Crimson with the 747-8i being added to the fleet five years after the retirement of the 747-200 and taking the place of the oldest 747-400's in the fleet. Retrofitted interiors have prolonged the lives of the aircraft to at least until the mid-2020's. The airline has found too much value in the aircraft to replace it with a non-747 aircraft, and will continue to do so until there is no choice but to replace the 747-8. Sadly, those days are coming closer for the old flagship. This will be the last livery to be used on the 747 before they are all retired in favor of a new flagship.

If you wish to use any choice of satcom antenna, such as the one shown in the image above, please go to this link which has a .psd file of different satcom variants:
