McDonnell Douglas MD-80

Calfiornian's short to medium range narrowbody of choice. These MD-80s, along with MD-90s and Boeing 717s, operate from San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles. They form the main arm of the fleet, being able to reach almost everywhere the airline goes. They're complimented by a small fleet of BAe-146 aircraft that operate out of smaller, more crowded airports like Burbank and Orange County, where noise complaints prevents the Mad Dogs from flying.
