Airbus A330-800neo (2021)

Airbus A330-800neo (2021)

In January 2020, Macau Airways confirmed an order for two new Airbus A330-800neos scheduled for delivery in 2021, with the first one received on 1 April that year. As the first widebody to join the fleet, the airline aims to expand into the Australian and European long-haul markets with this aircraft.

The A330-800neo will pioneer Airbus's new Airspace cabin design concept, sporting 24 fully flat seats in business class and 244 slimline seats in economy class.

About the A330-800neo:

The A330-800 – one of two A330neo versions, along with the A330-900 – is a more efficient aircraft that will generate savings through its reduced fuel burn. The jetliner incorporates the latest-generation Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, along with multiple aerodynamic improvements. With a range of 8,150 nautical miles, the A330-800 typically will seat 220 to 260 passengers in three classes of service, while offering capacity for up to 406 travellers in a high-density configuration.
