2010s: Rebranding to SAPSA Express

2010s: Rebranding to SAPSA Express

On 14 January 2016, SAPSA announced that Portavia would be rebranded as SAPSA Express as part of the restructuring measures within the group. The rebranding would take effect beginning on 27 March 2016, although it would still remain as an independent company under the SAPSA umbrella.

On the same day, SAPSA also announced that the entire Portavia fleet of Fokker 100s and Embraer ERJ-145s would be replaced with new Embraer 190 and ATR 72-600 aircraft (the latter operated by White Airways on behalf of SAPSA) by July 2016. The new aircraft would receive a livery similar to that of SAPSA, but with the addition of "Express" titles to distinguish them from the parent company's mainline aircraft.

Registration: CS-TTW
Aircraft name: Fátima

Love the realism in the lore, small regional flights like this wouldn't be operated by the airline itself but by a diffrent company licensing the brand.

Correct they wouldn't use the "express" name if the aircraft was operated by the airline itself.
