The MD-11s in the Global Airlines fleet were repainted to the new livery between 1994 and 1998, and retrofitted with the new interior product in all classes between 1997 and 1998. Featuring 10 Global First, 42 Global Business, and 216 Coach, they had slightly lower capacity than the 777, and were therefore flown on lower-demand routes, especially with an emphasis on South America. Due to their inefficiency, they started to be sold off in 2003, and all completely left the fleet by the end of 2007.
