TransWest Airlink | Shorts 360-100 | 1983-1986

The Shorts 360 was used briefly by Sunaire as TransWest Airlink in the early 1980s to launch services to small cities in California. However, due to its lack of a pressurized cabin, the type proved to be unsuited for operations in the more mountainous areas of the West, thus leading to its replacement by the Saab 340. Most of the airline's 360s were delivered in the pre-1985 livery, but the last two were painted in the new livery which was first introduced in 1985.
