Levantine, Airbus A330-900neo

Levantine was founded in the aftermath of WWII, shortly after Lebanon became independent. Its network is currently focus around the Middle East as well as Europe, with an ambition to relaunch long-haul flights to North America, Asia and Africa. Currently renewing its Airbus-only fleet, Levantine introduced its new flagship A330-900neo on its Paris-CDG route this spring.

This is the project I wanted to work on for the Arabic Design Contest, although there already were some Lebanese entries, so I ended up shelving it.

This is interesting enough for an honorary review!
    I would give it {19/30}.

The concept is solid enough, but I'm honestly not impressed with the general design. The brush strokes on the tail are okay and the red band is cool (I like the little pattern) but it all doesn't tie together that well for me.

The titles are interesting but the pairing with the Arabic one chosen makes it appear dated.

Overall I think this is a really good design with lots of potential, but seems a bit incoherent for me.

Be sure to check the out the results of the Arabic Design Contest now that they are out!
