Kansai Airlines - Livery History

The image is pretty big, open it in a new tab if you want to see the full size.

This was an airline I ran in another ATO3 session, based in Osaka, Japan. The planes are named after various cities in the Kansai region of Japan.

I painted enough different liveries to give it its own album, but I honestly never was fully satisfied with the liveries I came up with, so I didn't really bother. They look alright but it always felt like something was missing or just not quite right. The only thing I really vibed with out of all of the designs was the Orizuru (paper crane) logo used from 1971-2001 - I liked it so much that I decided to ditch the knockoff-Canadian-Airlines crane and go back to it (albeit in a 'modernized' fashion) for the 2016-present livery.

    Pretty nice :D

    I love. <3

Your A330-200 features an incorrect tail for the period specified.

There are two tail variants on the A330-200; the original, taller tail and the shorter, newer tail. Your image depicts the latter, which postdates the time-frame indicated above.

    My mistake, lol.

Byproduct of me being indecisive with what years each livery would be in service - when I painted that 332 I was going to have that livery stick around until 2005, which would have been fine since the A332's new tail began to be used in '04. Later on I changed the dates around but forgot to change the tail.

    Really cool!

While the inspirations for most liveries are clear, I like them; especially the 4th design

    These are all fantastic! :D

    Love these!

the 1971-1984 livery is obviously a ripoff of ana but i really really love it
