FlyViking McDonnell Douglas MD-90

FlyViking ordered a large number of MD-90 aircrafts to replace their aging MD-80 fleet and expand their route network futher. These modernised planes offered new technology as well as improved fuel economy. This made the MD-90 the main aircraft in FlyViking's european route network, finally being retired for good in 2015. Its replacement, the Airbus A320, may improve and modernize many things, but it can never get close to the MD-90's sleek and beautiful design.
