A350s and A339s in one fleet, a little bit overkill you might think, but not for Air Portugal. Since pilots can fly both jets almost without any extra training, pilot conversion costs are not an issue. Air Portugal uses the A350 on their main moneymaking routes because it has a seating capacity of around 330, while the A339 seats around 300-290 and is used on the rest of the the long haul network. Without first class a lot more seats could be added to the two aircraft types. A special livery is currently being applied to CS-XWA (the first A350 that acted as a test aircraft)
Fleet size:
A350-900: 6 + 4 on order.
A330-900: 4 + 16 on order.
Well **** me this is awesome!
