- Album China Central Airlines | 中国中央航空公司
China Central's first Boeing 747-400 was delivered in 1995 to inaugurate the first non-stop service between Shanghai and Los Angeles. The aircraft gradually replaced the Boeing 747SP on long-haul routes, and was a major part of the airline's Pacific and Eurasian expansion well into the 2000s. China Central began retiring its oldest -400 aircraft with the arrival of the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777-300ER in 2009 and 2011 respectively but will continue to operate the Boeing 747-400 until 2021.
B-2459 was delivered to the airline in 1996. 2459 was converted to a freighter and transferred to China Central Cargo in 2017.
