Starting in 1997, British International took delivery of Airbus A320s for European operations. The initial order was for 15 aircraft, and they were all leased from AerCap. In 1999, deliveries of A321s also began, leased from AerCap as well, with an initial order for nine aircraft. Between 2002 and 2004, all A320 family aircraft were bought out by the airline. The narrowbodies wore an amended livery, without any slant on the 'British' titles, due to space constraints on the fuselage. The A320s were configured with 168 seats in 28 rows, and the A321s with 206 seats in 35 rows, with the ability to convert the first few rows on each aircraft to Business class by blocking the middle seat. Throughout its history, the airline operated a maximum of 42 A320s and 12 A321s.

    As before, oh dear.

Excellent, very glad to hear your opinion. Anyone else?

Whilst I was merely trying to annoy you before, I thought I should actually follow up with a legitimate comment.

I get the whole Air UK Leisure vibe, however you indicate this is a 1997 scheme, yet the design presented is most definitely of a more 80s (early 90s at best) vintage.

I see. Well, the design will change with the next upload anyway.

I like this one much more :awesome: . You have inspired me somewhat to return to my British International and continue their story XD
