Stored at MHV, 2014

Vanden, despite never purchasing the A330 nor the earlier A340s, really supported the A340-500 and A340-600 program. It perfectly supported their desire for long-range travel that no aircraft truly supported yet (with the exception of the 747-400, which they never ordered). They ordered 12 A340-500 for long-range operations into Asia and some long hauls into South America. They ordered 9 A340-600 for operations into North America and Africa. These A340-500s were retired in 2014 and replaced with the 777-200LR which was far superior due to it's twinjet layout and it's greater capacity.

This jet, SE-BBC, was delivered in 2003. In 2006, it was leased to AsiaAtlantique where it operated for 2 years before being returned to Vanden. In 2013, it was retired from Vanden Air Transport and stored at Mojave Air and Space Port. As of 2019, it still sits there to this day without it's engines.

There have been no incidents aboard a Vanden Air Transport A340-500.

Hi V, I want to tell you why this is a lot better than Air Atlantique:

Those two thin lines at top of the tail and another thicker one at the bottom and the two colours cheat line.

You don't even need a logo or fancy typeface to make this looks great.

Small accent. That's the difference between simplicity/minimalism and being boring.

Thank you so much! It means a lot to hear your opinion. I really appreciate the feedback.

I can see why this would be more desirable than AirAtlantique, and I know for sure AirAtlantique won’t make a comeback for a long while, if ever. I really love Vanden as it opens up a lot of new brand ideas for me and creativity really flows. This is a brand I enjoy making and I’m glad people like you enjoy it as well.

Once again, thanks for the feedback as it means a lot hearing from a veteran like yourself. I’ll continue applying desirable changes to my liveries in the future.
Great work! This is a great brand! :D
Certainly a huge improvement from AirAtlantique. Proud to say I’m in love with this brand! You’ve seemed to master the art of minimalism with this brand.

Thank you both! It means a lot!
