Boeing 787-10 Italaria

Already during the beginning of the new millenium Italaria was searching for a replacement for the A340, which they thought was way too inefficient. Airbus Proposed the A330, but it did not have enough range for the airline. So Boeing offered their new 777-300ER, of which Italaria bought 12. All of which are still in the fleet. But around 2010, it became apparent that Italaria needed extra capacity because of the booming tourist industry in Italy, so an order of 15 787s was placed. 10 789s and 5 78Xs. After the first 789 was delivered in 2014, customer satisfaction on long-haul rose by around 10%.
