What could have been: Mount Cook Line 727-200

In 1980, the newly rebranded Mount Cook (Air)Line sought government approval to operate their first scheduled international services: using leased 727s between Christchurch and Australia. However the plans were shelved following the death of the airline's founder, Henry Wigley.

Based off a promotional rendering in the airline's newsletter (Oct. 1980), with a few changes.
