McDonnell Douglas MD-11C | PP-TOM

Samba was the Americas launch customer for the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, ordering 12 MD-11 aircraft and 5 MD-11 Combi aircraft. Samba's Combis were configured with 30 Business Class seats and 174 Economy Class seats, and were able to carry 10 pallets measuring up to about 7 cubic feet. The aircraft were used on flights to Europe and throughout South America; after their retirement from passenger service in 2007, they were converted into freighters and are the backbone of the Samba Logistics (dba Samba Carga) fleet today.

    Pretty ironic since Eddy Wally is a Belgianboi, and the logo looks eerily similar to Sabena...
