RegioJet | Fokker F100 | 1990-2010

Founded in 1990, RegioJet is the Italian regional subsidiary of Luftag Group, connecting destinations on the Italian peninsula with Luftag's hub at Vienna. The carrier operates a network of flights from its own regional hub at Turin in Northern Italy. RegioJet operated a fleet of seven Fokker 100 jets until 2010, when they were replaced by Embraer E-Jets.

RegioJet was created by a group of Italian businessmen who wanted to establish an airline focused on serving the northern region of Italy and providing high-quality service for business travelers. In the mid-1990's (when Luftag purchased a minority share in the company), the airline entered a partnership with the Austrian carrier Luftag and aligned its operating schedule with that of its Austrian partner. As part of this patnership, RegioJet began applying small Luftag logos to their aircraft and marketed itself as a "Luftag partner airline". In 2007, Luftag purchased majority control of the airline and incorporated it into the Luftag Group, equipping the carrier with new E-Jets as part of a fleet modernization plan.

Updated with new logo and 1990 livery.
