The first of seven A330-300 jets being removed form the Transoceanic fleet and moved into Onyx Airlines fleet. The plane is configured in a heavy first class, business class and economy layout with more legroom than a standard Transoceanic plane. The plane was moved to the new LAX hanger and readied for its first flight. While it sat on the ground members of the press were allowed to go through the plane and look over what all of the seats had to offer.
"The airline is its own deal. Transoceanic is another airline. If you did not know we were part of the Transoceanic group you would never know. The only tell is the ball close to the window. Our seats are new. Our food is different and so is our IFE." ~CEO Onyx Airlines.
The press invited to look over the new jet were impressed with how it presented itself. A new onboard bar was placed in the middle between the Onyx Traveler (economy) and Onyx Business was impressive.
The first flight under the new airline branding Onyx OX001 took off on the way to Tokyo with a full load of passengers and crew.

I gave the brand to BFS... second off... please tell me how its the same as SwissNational? Or Azorean? Or African? lmao
The similarity with Air Scotland is because Air Scotland was owned by Onyx and the transition with the livery was designed to make moving the fleet easier between the two.

The brand will be getting a new livery. Although atm their fleet is operating in the Pre-Byout livery.
