Post-Merger SunWest 737-300

While TransitAir's reputation took a steep nosedive, SunWest found itself in a bit of a predicament. Its sales were on the decline, its point-to-point services were becoming a hinderance to its scheduled ones, and the CEO had developed a serious illness that forced him to resign. Under the next CEO, SunWest began looking for a buyer. TransitAir, looking to thwart its poor reputation, was interested. In July of 1995, TransitAir and SunWest merged, with the latter being the surviving brand. In August of that year, SunWest's new livery was introduced.
