As part of the rapid expansion of Southeast Pacific throughout the Philippines, the airline has bought Twenty (20) de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter to serve the small niche regional markets across the islands of Luzon and Visayas. This purchase kickstarted the creation of a regional subsidiary of the airline, Southeast Pacific Connection.

This small twin otter plane served the regional subsidiary of the airline for Fourteen (14) years until it was replaced by the more powerful and efficient DHC-8.
