Aerostar's history with the 737 traces back to the age of Eagle Airlines. In the span of the 737's career, Aerostar has operated every variant of it except the 737-600. The 737's reliability as a medium capacity airliner has been unsurpassed.

The 737-800 version is the Next Generation replacement for the 737-400. Offering room for up to 189 seats, the 737-800 quickly became a favorite of airlines and passengers worldwide. Aerostar was able to use the fleet to finish the replacement of the 727 as well as upgrade its 737 Classic fleet. It upscaled seats on many routes and is now has the largest fleet size in Aerostar's fleet.

Aerostar operates over a hundred 737-800 aircraft with 16 First Class recliners, 30 Economy Plus seats, and 114 Economy seats. Each economy and economy plus seat is equipped with AVOD and a game center, as well as live sports games. First class seats are equipped with the same system, but with a larger selection of live TV.

The 737 MAX 8 has been delivered to Aerostar and will enter service alongside the 737 MAX 9 in October 2018. It will feature a redesigned cabin more similar to the 787 series.
