Air Catalina is a commuter airline based and headquartered in Avalon, CA that provides flights between mainland Southern California and the Channel Islands as well as inter-island flights. Flying to Santa Catalina, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, San Clemente, and San Nicolas Islands, most flights are either cargo flights from the mainland to the islands, charter services for tourism companies, or service flights carrying reserve staff on the military installations on San Clemente and San Nicolas. Despite this, Air Catalina also does scheduled flights between Catalina, its namesake, and several destinations on the mainland including Oxnard, Santa Monica, Burbank, Long Beach, Santa Ana, Carlsbad, and San Diego. Codesharing is also provided between Air Catalina and other airlines on the continental U.S., allowing people from abroad to get to the islands easier and faster.

This was inspired by a conversation I had with Brit and Hayhaa, so a special thanks to them for this being here.

    Thanks Otaku, again

Oh Catalina, such a beautiful island to visit if you're in SoCal.
The airline really screams soCal from the colours to the symbol

Can confirm, I can see it from my house on clear days and even from 30 miles away it’s remarkable how beautiful it is. We do have plans to take the ferry there though, so I’ll hopefully expand this more once I get a true feel of Catalina.

I feel that’d be a more accurate statement if you threw the plane in the brush and doused on some lighter fluid.
