Air Nigeria Boeing 767-300 (2002-2009) | 5N-AGE

Air Nigeria was born out of the remaining assets of state-owned Nigeria Airways, which collapsed in 2002 after decades of mismanagement and corrupt practices. Air Nigeria is Nigeria's first privately-owned airline and operates a relatively modern fleet of Boeing and Bombardier aircraft from Nigeria to points on five continents. In 2003, the airline began operations with a bare metal livery featuring two horizontal stripes and a green tail, with an updated version of the elephant emblem that has dominated Nigerian skies since the 1950s.

Air Nigeria's three Boeing 767-300s were the backbone of its long-haul operations during the early 2000s, along with a Boeing 747-200, a Boeing 747-300 and a Douglas DC-10. 5N-AGE flew mostly to Europe during this time, and can nowadays be found flying Air Nigeria's main African trunk routes, such as to Casablanca, Cairo, Luanda, Nairobi, and Johannesburg.

5N-AGE is configured with 24 Executive Class angle-flat seats and 199 Economy Class seats.
