N539TA | Airbus A320 | "Valor"

On November 11th of 2017, TravelAir unveiled its newest special livery on one of its A320's to celebrate Veteran's Day. The public was invited to view the new plane at TravelAir's maintenance base in Charlotte. After the festivities, the plane departed to Las Vegas where it was given a water solute. N539TA now flies all over the TravelAir system and can be spotted at any TravelAir destination.

As this is my first serious special livery, I need feedback. Negative is better than nothing. Thank you!

    Not bad :)

    Not bad :)

I feel like this is too different from the brand. It doesn't follow any pattern of the normal liveries. Most special liveries have a connection (or at least a resemblance) to the main livery. At the very least you could paint the sharklet the green-blue color you use for the rest of them.

Although I will say that for the most part bAnderson is right. Most livery's like this are very similar to the normal airlines livery. I think there are some pretty good examples of this around AE. I know med has a nice LGTBQ livery and Vision and Agre have two more good examples of this.

    And IRL.

The bottom is a personal favorite....

I’d use Alaska Airlines Veterans 737 as a reference. They did a great job on theirs.
