From Abidjan to Zurich, or Bamako to Bordeau, the A320 family provides the foundation for Algérien's hub structure. Due to their varied size but useful commonality, Algérien uses these aircraft on just about every route in the system, with 40 A320 family aircraft in the fleet. First delivered in 1990, the A320 is the oldest but most reliable workhorse throughout Europe. As the smallest mainline aircraft in the fleet, the A319 serves Northern Africa and far-flung destinations. As the most recent aircraft in the fleet, the A321 offers high-capacity options, mostly to France. The A320 family was meant to succeed the 737-300 in the late 1990's, and will be replaced by the CSeries in the 2020's.

I don't even think Algérien has a chance against Jumeirah, Bahraini, Jazira, Qatariya, and Nakheel.
