There are routes served by Aeronetja's fleet of ERJ-195ARs, but then there are the ones that have more demand than can be efficiently handled by them. That's where the A320 comes in. Armed with more capacity, these planes are most comfortable serving destinations with plenty of tourists looking to go to Malta for holiday as well as bored Maltese looking to spend time on the mainland. These include cities like Paris, Amsterdam, Moscow, London, Copenhagen, and Madrid. Aeronetja A320s can also be spotted in places too far for the ERJ-195AR, like Reykjavik, Dubai, and seasonal service to Ponta Delgada.

You better be 
Boeing is better than Airbus because it makes spacecraft and a larger selection of military aircraft too, AND it has a more interesting history. As far as commercial aircraft though, they're about the same.
