In 2014, Nusantara signed a five-year global partnership agreement with Liverpool FC, becoming the football club's official global airline partner. Through the partnership, LFC is looking to bring Anfield closer to its fans in Southeast Asia, while Nusantara is looking to promote its newly refreshed brand in the European market, making it a perfect match.

Chief Commercial Officer of LFC, Billy Hogan commented that "Liverpool and Indonesia have always shared a special passion for football – when we visited Indonesia on our tour in 2013 and 2015, the reception was incredible. We're looking to strengthen this special bond and are very much looking forward to a bright future working with Nusantara."

Nafsiah Trimurti, CEO of Nusantara Indonesian Airlines, said, "We're thrilled to welcome Liverpool FC into the Nusantara family. Both brands have long histories with similar values rooted in family and representing our communities. LFC is one of the most followed football clubs in the world, with over 65m fans in Indonesia, another 45m spread throughout Southeast Asia, and another 40m in China, and its a great opportunity to be the global partner of such a well-supported club. This partnership will also go a long way in strengthening our brand in Europe."

To celebrate the partnership, PK-ATT was painted in a special Liverpool FC livery, and flew to Liverpool with dignitaries and fans at the beginning of the 2015-16 season. The Airbus A330-200 is scheduled to be painted in the livery until at least 2019, and will fly between Nusantara's hubs in Jakarta and Bali to destinations throughout Southeast Asia and Oceania.

PK-ATT is configured with 30 Business Class lie-flat seats and 216 Economy Class seats.
