Cape Air - South Africa | Fleet

Cape Air - South Africa is a small airline based in Cape Town which operates flights throughout the country using a fleet of Boeing 737's and ATR turboprops. It was founded in 1983 as a regional carrier, using a fleet of BAe Jetstream 31 and 41 turboprops. It has since expanded to become a major carrier within South Africa. The airline is expanding its international services to neighboring countries and has placed orders for three examples of the Boeing 737 MAX in order to replace its oldest 737-800's. Currently, the airline operates 12 Boeing 737-800's, five ATR 72-500's, and three ATR 42-500's.
